She Must Be Seeing Things – Sat 30 April – The Cube
Indigo Network team up with Beacons, Icons & Dykons for an evening of film, live performance & music at the best small venue in Bristol.
FILM: “A secret affair. A masquerade. A dance of seduction.’ Join us for a special screening of the 1987 cult classic ‘She Must Be Seeing Things’. Starring Lois Weaver, Shelia Dabney & Peggy Shaw, this landmark film was one of the first to showcase lesbian desire & eroticism on the big screen.
PERFORMANCE: Star of the film, Lois Weaver is a Guggenheim-winning artist, performer, writer & lecturer. She joins us in Bristol, nearly 30 years on, for a special performance on the stage of the Cube. She’ll be joined at BID by Bristol-based performer Isadora Vibes.
AFTER-PARTY: Indigo & Hush DJs host a party & drinks social in the bar after the performances. Stay late with us after the film, or grab a party-only ticket & join us for a light sprinkling of decadance from 10 pm.
